i am always eternally amused by the idea that the Mist hiding baby Jason being a human child in Lupa's pack to mortals just. made him look like a wolf pup. so as far as mortals are/the state of California is concerned Jason is legally a wolf.

I've been reading I Grow, Unforgiven (To Be Otherwise Is Madness) by @barbaricjester, and man it has been a fun fic to follow. I love it when a fic just feels so in tune with the source material, while still telling its own story! Anyway, I wanted to do an illustration of a particularly punchy scene a few chapters in... anyway related to my "gullible" post i do think bonnie didn't really have a lot of friends / any good friends. i'm taking a watsonian approach to "some of the things bonnie does seem more like age 5-8 than 10-12", and a doylist approach to "everyone in this party grew up kinda lonely and feels disconnected from their peer group"

Next panel- Darius, Willow, and Eberwolf on the couch. Hunter says "...willow?", She replies "hey hunter!", he asks "what are you guys doing?

Darius says "oh nothing...except looking at pictures of you as a baby!" Holding up the documents from earlier. We see two pictures of a younger hunter framed like panels- the first is of hunter as a baby/toddler aged hunter freshly sprouted out of the ground with a blanket around him, covered in dirt, while the second one shows a young scout Hunter covered in bandages receiving his sprig plushie. Darius' narration reads "courtesy of Hettie Cutburn- she found the only surviving copy of your early life medical records and gave them to me". Willow says "aww, you were so cute!". The final panel shows Hunter looking embarrassed/stunned as Willow takes a photo of the documents, and Darius says "I'm considering it an early father's day present- so, thank you, Hunter". End ID]

14 | 100 days of drawing Fu Hua

The orange square is filled with doodles of various foods. Some are references to Cooking with Valkyrie recipes such as the bowl of noodles, fried dumplings, mantou seasoned with Chinese pickled mustard, and hotpot soup. Others like the sunny side up egg, the coffee mug, and the bowl with chopsticks are just regular food imagery.
